Founded in 1996 by a group of intrepid young theatre makers from Swarthmore College, Pig Iron Theatre Company has risen to international prominence over the past three decades through its innovative, award--winning original works, and the stunning creations of the graduates of Pig Iron's School for Advanced Performance Training.
A founding Co-Artistic Director of Pig Iron, Suli Holum served as a devising creator/performer of nine original projects, and wrote Pig Iron's acclaimed World War I melodrama, Gentlemen Volunteers, published in Pig Iron: 3 Plays by 53rd St. Press. She has also worn both dramaturgical and producing hats over the years, and is a frequent guest lecturer at the Pig Iron School.
